Special Events occur year-round with the help of generous sponsors and major media partners. Stadium events and concerts, multi-location food drives, radio pledge drives and other unique fundraisers contribute to our work throughout the year, throughout the state. See our Event Calendar or Featured Event page for details.

Food Drives are community-run events that benefit Northwest Harvest, providing much-needed food and nutritional variety. They can be held almost any place people gather or work together. Over 700 such community events register with us annually, while many more donate proceeds unexpectedly throughout the year.  [more]

We welcome your interest in supporting Northwest Harvest with a special event or promotional offer for clients and/or friends. Please refer to the following guidelines when deciding whether a gift to Northwest Harvest meets your goals and needs.
  • Northwest Harvest does not sell or lend its mailing list to outside entities, nor does it engage in promotional mailings to its constituents on a donor’s behalf.
  • Inclusion of an event or offer in the Northwest Harvest newsletter, web site or other agency correspondence is at the discretion of the Publications Manager.
  • All uses of the Northwest Harvest copyrighted logo must be approved in writing by the Director of Communications. A sample of any piece employing the logo must be presented for approval prior to the event or offer. Approval is granted at the discretion of the Director of Communications.
  • Northwest Harvest does not solicit donations door-to-door and does not authorize donors to use this or similar methods when promoting their event or offer.
  • Northwest Harvest cannot be held liable or responsible for any activities associated with a special event held on behalf of the agency by a private party. The donor/host assumes all liability.
  • The presence of Northwest Harvest volunteers or staff does not imply that the event is sponsored by the agency.
  • Northwest Harvest cannot assign value to any goods or services exchanged for the benefit of the agency. This responsibility lies with the party donating the goods or services. In some cases, documentation from that party is required before Northwest Harvest can release a letter acknowledging receipt and providing a description of the item or service given.
