GiveBIG 2021 May 4, 2021 - May 5, 2021 Register GiveBIG – Washington Gives’ annual statewide fundraising campaign, began April 20th and will culminate with a 48-hour giving event on May 4th and 5th. Through our partnerships with hundreds of food banks, meal programs and schools, Northwest Harvest can leverage your GiveBIG support to get food where it’s needed most. We are also fiercely advocating for a stronger social safety net that protects our most vulnerable neighbors. Food security is a foundational building block to creating a more just and equitable society and to helping communities recover and rebuild. GiveBIG is an opportunity to learn more about Washington organizations that may not have the same name recognition as Northwest Harvest. We encourage you to learn about, and support organizations that are led by communities often left behind as a result of systemic injustices – particularly BIPOC-led (Black, Indigenous and people of color) organizations working to end hunger and financial insecurity. Our efforts to grow food justice will be stronger when these organizations are thriving. We cannot do this work alone.
