All events are hosted on Zoom. Tickets are available for purchase with or without meals. There are limited tickets available for participating restaurant meals. All food must be picked up on the Friday of the event from 3:00 – 5:00 PM from the featured restaurant selected. 

Highlight, celebrate, and embrace the Black community of Seattle.

The Soul of Seattle 2021 is a series of virtual fundraising events throughout the month of February to benefit local Black chefs and organizations that empower youth of color in Seattle. Presented by Chef Edouardo Jordan in partnership with Northwest Harvest.

Event Dates:

  • Monday, February 1st – Kick Off with Chef Edouardo Jordan and guests

  • Friday, February 5th – Live Cooking Demo with Dre Neeley, Sabrina Tinsley, and host Matthew Lewis of Where ya at, Matt? Featuring dinners from Gravy & La Spiga

  • Friday, February 12th – Live Panel Discussion with national Black culinary leaders hosted by Marcus Samuelsson. Panel includes Mashama Bailey, Eric Adjepong, Shakirah Simley, Kwame Onwuachi & Edouardo Jordan. Featuring dinners from Café Campagne & Salare

  • Friday, February 19th – Live Cooking Demo Trey Lamont, Kristi Brown, and host Wayne Johnson of Farestart. Featuring dinners from Jerk Shack & Communion

  • Friday, February 26th – Live Closing Dance party with special guest DJ Questlove. Featuring dinners from Marjorie & JuneBaby

  • Weekly Silent Auction featuring rotating items, available to all!
